The Norse world did not limit itself to one metal. Pendants were found in iron at burial sites, in bronze in hoards, in gold on chieftains. This collection follows that same logic: every price point, every material, every level of finish — from a raw iron Mjolnir at $20 through to the large Mjolnir Silver Hugin and Munin at $560. The craft process is the constant. Every piece is individual.

What Sets This Collection Apart

Most Viking jewellery collections narrow by material. This one does not. The 539 pendants here span materials you will not find combined anywhere else on the site — including hand-carved wood pieces unique to the VKNG range, iron pendants forged in the most historically grounded material of the Viking age, and copper pieces that occupy a category entirely their own. The Symbolism Across the Collection

Thor's Hammer — Mjolnir — sixty-one pieces, the largest symbol category in the collection and the most diverse rendering of any symbol across the site. 

Runes — Elder Futhark — fifty-five pieces, the runic alphabet of the Viking age rendered across iron, bronze, silver and wood. Used for communication, memorial inscription and as protective amulets for over a thousand years before the Viking age and well beyond it.

Wolves — fifteen pieces, the most dedicated wolf pendant collection in the VKNG catalogue. Odin's companions Geri and Freki, the world wolf Fenrir, and Hati and Skoll — the sons of Fenrir destined to devour the sun and moon.

Odin — twenty-four pieces spanning the Allfather's full iconographic range: his ravens Huginn and Muninn, his spear Gungnir, his horns, the Valknut, and direct representations of the god himself across bronze, silver and gold.

The Helm of Awe — Ægishjálmr — eighteen pieces, the eight-armed protective stave of the Icelandic grimoires, worn by those who sought invincibility in battle.

The Valknut — fourteen pieces, including the Bronze Valknut Gungnir at $48 — Odin's three interlocked triangles combined with his spear, one of the most symbolically dense single amulets in the collection.

The Vegvisir — fourteen pieces, the runic compass ensuring its wearer never loses their way, across bronze, silver, wood and iron.

The Drakkar — Longship — fourteen pieces, the ship that defined the Viking age rendered in bronze, silver and wood across multiple scales and finishes.

What is the difference between the bronze and silver versions of the same pendant?

Beyond material and price, the finish differs. Bronze develops a warm, aged patina over time that many wearers find adds character. Sterling silver is brighter and more reflective, and can be polished back to its original finish if it tarnishes. Both are individually cast and finished by hand to the same standard.

Are the wood pendants hand-carved?

Yes. The wood pendant range is hand-carved — each piece is worked individually from natural wood rather than mass-produced. Slight variations in grain and finish between pieces are inherent to the material and the process.

How long does production and shipping take?
