Como la mayoría de los pueblos, los vikingos creían en la vida después de la muerte.

Pero dónde terminabas dependía de cómo vivías tu vida. Las valquirias llevaron a los guerreros vikingos que murieron valientemente en el campo de batalla al Valhalla.

Esta era la sala de Odín, el dios nórdico de la guerra.

Los guerreros festejaban y luchaban allí hasta que eran llamados a luchar de nuevo en la batalla final al final de los días.

Los vikingos que no murieron en la batalla podrían ser llevados por Hrungnir a Hel, un lugar frío y sin vida gobernado por la diosa Hel, uno de los hijos de Loki.

El Valknut era el símbolo vikingo asociado con la otra vida y aparece en muchas tumbas y ajuares funerarios.

Parece haber sido un símbolo del Valhalla.

Podría ser que los vikingos inscribieran el símbolo en las pertenencias de los muertos para indicar que ahora estaban en Valhalla.

This ring was my first purchase from V.K.N.G jewelry and I must say I'm impressed. The quality of the engraving is honestly amazing, to say it is crisp and clean would I feel be an understatement. The sizing is also pretty accurate +/- half a size which in my experience is a higher level of accuracy than most jewellers. With that being said I can most definitely recommend this ring without hesitation.

It is a very good fit, and while it feels a bit flimsy, it's sturdier than it looks.
It is heavy enough for you to feel on your finger and light enough not to bother you.
My only complaint is that in the very same day it arrived, I gently rubbed a piece of cloth on the inside and it turned black and revealed some protuding dots (like pimples), but it's still comfortable to wear and the outside is very smooth and solid.
Otherwise the craftsmanship is not perfect but near it, the patterns are great, some minor flaws exist but it is to be expected and unless you're very nitpicky you probably won't even notice.
Overall a great and beautiful piece, powerful and elegant design

Nordic Ring

Good ring. I ordered the wrong size so I had to use an adjuster to help it on a finger. I’ve worn it for about 3 days and now it’s turning my finger a little green/black. It’s still a good ring and I will wear it every weekend since I can’t wear it at work.
